With a strong background in both back-end development and building science, I work at the intersection of building technology. I enjoy creating software and systems to reframe how practitioners view the high-performance and sustainable building industry. Just as a high-quality home is crafted around its occupants, the technology backing it should be crafted around our AEC industry's practitioners.
Assisted with on-site PHIUS testing and energy modeling for several projects. Applied workflow knowledge to adapt the Honeybee-PH toolkit to RDH's modeling style.
Improved high-performance design and analysis workflows by developing methodologies to support the interoperability between energy modeling software and data management systems.
Worked on the software interoperability, specifically regarding the conversion of building information models (BIM) into building energy models (BEM).
Researched the potential of partial high-performance homes and created digital promotional content for Passivhaus Institut’s 2023 International Passive House Conference in Wiesbaden, Germany.
My work involved editing weekly live webinars to disseminate building science knowledge through talks given by leading professionals in the Passive House and zero-carbon buildings industries.
